Children Leading Change

Children are not only learners, they can be powerful leaders for change.

In 2025, Ngwenya Central Primary School in Ngwenya village implemented a whole-school anti-bullying initiative that engaged over 700 learners.

With the support of Children for Health, students helped design practical solutions to prevent and reduce bullying in their school and community. Their ideas, voices, and leadership shaped the programme.

The results are already visible: stronger peer relationships, improved behaviour, greater parental involvement, and a more positive learning environment.

When children are trusted to lead, schools and communities change.

This is the power of participatory child health and wellbeing.
