Public Health & Community Paediatrics

Dr. Nisha Narayanan, MD, FAAP, is a double board-certified paediatric emergency medicine physician and advocate dedicated to advancing child health equity and paediatric preventive care.

She serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and practices in both New York City, NY and Edinburgh, Scotland.

She is the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of Team Kid Power, an international nonprofit focused on advancing pediatric cardiometabolic health in underserved communities through academic-community partnerships, education, and policy advocacy.

Dr. Narayanan has led multidisciplinary initiatives in pediatric patient safety, quality improvement, and healthcare systems innovation, with a focus on delivering measurable impact for children and families. Her work bridges clinical medicine, public health, and community engagement to expand access to high-quality, evidence-based care.

She has authored numerous publications and book chapters on pediatric health.

As both a physician and parent, she is deeply committed to empowering families and strengthening systems that help children thrive.

Dr. Anne Rerimoi is a paediatrician and epidemiologist who is passionate about creating impact through improved health outcomes for children and youth.

Anne worked in clinical practice after qualifying as a paediatrician and went on to complete a master’s degree in international child health and a doctorate in epidemiology and population health.

Anne has great people skills and is a compassionate, active listener.

She has been the lead consultant for the World Health Organization developing global guidance for child and adolescent health and wellbeing and written two book chapters on the same.

She would be bringing her experience from her twin worlds of paediatric clinical practice and global child and adolescent health and wellbeing research, to create lasting solutions for newborn and unborn babies, children, and adolescents.
